His new album, 'Collecting Dust', features all original material ranging from punchy, upbeat folk rock to moody, ethereal Americana. It will be released July 21 2009.

Featuring stellar vocal duets and barn-burning fiddle and banjo numbers, the Burning Embers are fueling a groundswell of old and new country fans with their unique, boot-stomping twist on traditional music.
Continuing the vocal tradition of country greats like George Jones and Melba Montgomery and the Louvin Brothers, the Burning Embers still ring true to their bluegrass and old-time roots with rollicking fiddle and banjo tunes that will turn any room into a honky-tonk. And though some have said their addition of drums might send them to a hot rock in bluegrass hell, if the Embers meet the Prince of Darkness the seats will be empty and the dance floor full. Drinkin, cheatin, and breakin up never sounded so good.

Axton Kincaid burst on to the San Francisco and national scenes in 2007 with a debut CD that showed a polish beyond their time together. Anchored by the strong songwriting of lead singer/guitarist Kate Howser, Songs from the Pine Room received national critical acclaim from the likes of NPR, American Songwriter, All Music Guide, West Coast Performer, The SF Bay Guardian and SF Weekly while getting spins across the nation on Triple A and Americana radio. Along the way they have shared stages with BR-549, Camper Van Beethoven, The Mother Truckers, Eileen Jewell and Red Meat.
Silver Dollars, out October 2008 on Free Dirt Records, updates the traditional bent of the band's debut with songs inspired by early '70s country-rock ("The Saddest Story"), Dolly-and-Porter style duets ("Spend Some Time With Me") and the classic Nashville sound--albeit with an underlying layer of noisy, distorted guitar ("Walking Papers").

So, imagine dancing in a border town cantina with a cool ocean breeze blowing while singing along to an infectious Tarantino-like soundtrack that’s reminiscent of Buena Vista Social Club, Gotan Project, Sublime, Gogol Bordello and The Clash. Regardless how you attempt to explain it, this group has emerged as one of the most innovative and ear-catching voices from the Bay Area with its unique musical hybrid of Flamenco-Latin-driven Gypsy Pop songs.
The brainchild of artists Vaughn Lindstrom and Tyson Maulhardt, this musical ensemble recorded their first album in 2001. The release of their 5th album Viva la Juerga in late 2007 possesses a high energy gypsy feel incorporating more of a rock, ska, klezmer sound into the already eclectic mix.
