Losing oneself isn’t necessarily something to shy away from; in the case of the debut EP from San Francisco trio Interchangeable Hearts, such an outcome should probably be welcomed. The Record Winter is a band from northern California comprised of members hailing from what was once a thriving San Jose music scene- founding member Dominic Miranda and friends are still working to keep that scene alive. Stemming from his former start-up effort, Avenues, Dominic has chiseled his song writing skills into a finely crafted work of art in which he seems to have perfected within this new found ensemble, where he helms the titles of vocal frontman and guitarist.
