FAQs

  • DO YOU SELL TICKETS?

No - we are day of show, cash at door BUT some of our events will have presales available. This has nothing to do with us so check the event page for info on how to purchase tickets in advance.

    WHAT IS THE ENTRY POLICY?

    You must be 21+

You must have a VALID, UNEXPIRED US Driver's License, State ID or Passport. We do not accept temporary paper licenses, copies or digital IDs.

Please do NOT bring outside alcohol or beverages of any kind. Sealed water is allowed. You may BYO water container if it is empty.

No weapons, no drugs (including weed), no markers or spray paint — we will check all bags and backpacks.

DO YOU HAVE A LOST & FOUND?

Yes, if you left something behind please email us via the contact page (linked) or call the bar when we are open to see if we have your item.

    CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?

It depends on the event. Any professional, non-phone photos need to be cleared with us and the event before you come.

    IS THERE PARKING?

Unfortunately not. There is metered parking and limited street parking. We are on the 12, 14 and 49 bus lines and we are about 3 blocks from the 24th St BART.

    DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

Yes, BUT we do not accept any form of tap to pay, so make sure you bring daddy's plastic.

CAN I SMOKE ON YOUR PATIO

Yes, off the decking and away from the building. We have residents above us and want to respect their air.

CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?

Yes, we will give you a stamp and when you come back, if there is a line, you may skip it and come to the front.

  • WHEELCHAIR ACCESIBILITY

Our entrance and the majority of the club is wheelchair accessible; including the back deck but excluding the yard. There are high lips on doorways out to the patio.

    BATHROOMS

We have five bathrooms total: one gender neutral bathroom with two floor-to-ceiling stalls, three gender neutral single-stall bathrooms, and one bathroom with two urinals.

One ADA-compliant bathroom is located in the live performance room next to the back bar and is fully accessible. The remaining four bathrooms may require wheelchair assistance. Two bathrooms are located off a narrow hallway with a 22" entry; each measures 6'x4.5' with a 21.5" doorway. The bathroom in the front hall measures 5'x5' with a 25" doorway. The urinal bathroom measures 5'x5' with a 26" doorway. All bathrooms with toilets have approximately 2 feet of clearance between the toilet and the wall or door, and grab bars installed next to the toilets. The urinal bathroom has 3 feet of clearance from the wall without grab bars.

    LIGHTING

Lighting is typical of most bars – we use a lot of Christmas Lights for ambiance. The back room has stage lighting that can be raised or lowered at the request of the performer. We also have disco balls in the front and back, moving lights and a hazer in the back room.

    NOISE LEVEL

Events here can be loud. Earplugs are available from the bartender or sound tech.

    SERVICE ANIMALS

We welcome (and adore!) service animals ON LEASH at most times. On mellower evenings and during the day, we encourage both service animals and pets in the bar. Though service animals are always welcome, please be aware that we do not allow pets to our larger parties, and we encourage people to be thoughtful when bringing any animal to the club during those events — they are very crowded, loud, chaotic, and can be overwhelming even for normally calm animals. If you do decide to bring a service animal to a large event, please attempt to arrive early in order to secure a secluded spot where your animal won’t become overstimulated. We care about you and your service animal and want everyone to have a good time! All dogs must be well behaved and able to tolerate our cat friends.

    HYDRATION

We have a water station with cups across from the bar. We welcome you to use your own container, but please do not bring any consumable liquids into the space.

  • CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD IN?

Yes but please clean up after yourself.

    EVEN CAKE?

Yes, but for larger groups, we will need an ID as a form of deposit. We will return to your ID once you have finished and cleaned up your area.

    DO YOU HAVE BOTTLE SERVICE?

We do not. Please do not bring in outside alcohol.

WHAT IF I AM THIRSTY FOR WATER?

We have a self-serve water station across from the bar.

  • CAN I HAVE A PRIVATE PARTY HERE?

Potentially! We host all sorts of events, from weddings to graduations to anniversaries to work holiday parties to memorials. Reach out to hello@elriosf.com for more information and check our private events link (linked).

CAN MY FORTY FRIENDS AND I HAVE A PATIO DANCE PARTY ON A SATURDAY?

    No.

CAN I BRING MY BABY TO A PARTY IF IT IS PRIVATE?

Unfortunately, no, we are always 21+.
